Beide Kreuzb\u00e4nder ziehen durch den Gelenkspalt des Knies und stabilisieren es zusammen mit den Seitenb\u00e4ndern. Im Verlauf kreuzen sich diese beiden B\u00e4nder \u2013 daher die Bezeichnung \u201eKreuzb\u00e4nder\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Der vordere Kreuzbandriss tritt entweder isoliert auf oder kommt im Zusammenhang mit komplexeren Verletzungen vor. Bei diesen Verletzungsformen k\u00f6nnen sowohl die Menisken als auch Innen- und Au\u00dfenband in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Typischerweise ereignet er sich im Rahmen von Sportverletzung und tritt vor allem bei Sportarten mit fixiertem Fu\u00df (z. B. Bei einem k\u00f6rperlich aktiven Patienten und bei komplexen Knieverletzungen (kombiniert mit Meniskus- und\/oder Innenbandverletzung) wird eine Operation empfohlen. Dabei wird eine Kamera (= Arthroskop) in das Kniegelenk eingef\u00fchrt und dann das Kreuzband unter Sicht rekonstruiert. Wir benutzen hierzu den, aktuell international favorisierten, anteromedialen Zugang zur Platzierung des Bohrkanals im Oberschenkel. Dadurch kann zus\u00e4tzlich eine verbesserte Rotationsstabilit\u00e4t des Kniegelenkes gew\u00e4hrleistet werden. Zum Einsatz kommen dabei minimalinvasive Ger\u00e4te, die ebenfalls in das Gelenk eingef\u00fchrt werden. Je nach Wahl des Kreuzband-Ersatzmaterials variieren Anzahl, Gr\u00f6\u00dfe und Lage der Hautschnitte. Die Prognose einer solchen Operation ist meist sehr gut, sodass bei ad\u00e4quater Mitarbeit des Patienten in der Weiterbehandlung ein hohes Leistungssportniveau wiedererlangt werden kann.
